Schedule a class session
Faculty may request library instruction sessions to support course assignments, strengthen students' research skills, and introduce quality information sources.
Library instruction sessions:
- Are available to every department
- Address any academic, business, or creative assignment
- Can include SCAD Special Collections and primary source materials upon request
- Are 60 minutes long
- Are held during class time Monday through Thursday or as a study trip during business hours on Fridays
- Must be requested at least two weeks in advance and often fill by week one

- Advise on assignment design, including integrating appropriate sources or research skills
- Create course guides and other custom instructional materials
- Support faculty research, including sabbatical and fellowship projects
