Guests and visitors

SCAD Libraries welcome approved guests and visitors when accompanied by a SCAD Card holder or when visits are pre-arranged with library staff. This includes:

  • Visitors with valid IDs from other higher-education institutions
  • Escorted guests of SCAD faculty, staff, or students (particularly during special events such as orientation or commencement)

All visitors must present a valid photo ID and sign in with security upon entry. Visitors do not have circulation or computer use privileges but may utilize the assistance of librarians and staff to locate items for in-library use. To arrange a visit, please contact [email protected]. If you are a visiting researcher, please submit a research consultation request.

Photography and filming

Professional photography and filming in any SCAD Libraries location must have prior approval. To make a request, please complete the SCAD Savannah Facilities Use Permission Form. Requests are directed to the operations manager of Savannah Film Studio. You may also review filming guidelines for Jen Library.
